Ranches

To enroll cattle for age verification, the Rancher must follow these steps:

1. Rancher records age information in calving books, calendars, or other formats.
2. Rancher completes an Audit Request Form and sends to Micro Beef.
3. Audit completed via phone or on-site, verifying the calving dates.
4. Micro Beef reviews the audit and, if passed, generates an official Approval Letter. Cattle are now officially verified and enrolled in a USDA-approved program.

To ensure age verification status is maintained at the feedyard or backgrounder, the Supplier must follow these steps:

1. Supplier is initially approved as a MICRO PVP Supplier through an on-site audit.
2. When cattle arrive, Supplier completes the Receiving Form and submits this to Micro Beef.
3. If any cattle are retagged, Supplier completes the Retagging Form and submits this to Micro Beef.
4. Prior to shipping, Supplier completes the Shipping Form and submits this to Micro Beef.
